About The Event
Who should come?
This workshop continues our WARM 101 training recently offered on March 3rd. This workshop is designed for those who want to volunteer with WARM and/or befriend refugees.*
Topics covered:
- Culture
- Communication tips
- Promoting self-sufficiency
- Faith
- Practical steps to partnerships with refugee families
We will have more opportunities to hear from our international friends who have traveled the refugee highway.
* For those who have attended our training in the past, we have taken the content you received and divided it into two sessions: WARM 101 (an introduction for anyone wanting to learn about WARM and refugees), and WARM 201 (for those who want to volunteer and/or befriend refugees).
