About The Event
This workshop is designed for those who want to volunteer with WARM to serve refugees in our community. (If you have not attended WARM 101: Opening the Door to Refugee Ministry, we will send you a 1-hour self-guided training as a pre-requisite.)
Discover the Joy of Welcoming!
We will cover how to:
- Connect across cultures
- Communicate when you speak different languages
- Promote self-sufficiency
- Talk about faith
- Befriend a refugee family
- Find your niche in volunteering
We will also hear from one of our international friends who will share their story of being a refugee.Learn how you can volunteer with WARM to serve refugees in our community.
